Control Branch Lectures

The Control Engineering branch was established in 1986 and is considered the only one of its kind in Iraq. This branch graduates engineers specialized in Control Engineering to integrate them into the workforce and develop Iraqi industry. The aim of the Control Engineering branch is to provide undergraduate students with subjects related to all fields of Control Engineering according to global standards. These subjects include building a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, electronics, engineering drawing, applied mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, programming techniques, electrical machines, measurements, components, and the basics of communication engineering. These are followed by specialized courses such as control engineering theories, advanced control engineering, system identification, programmable controllers, digital signal processing, industrial engineering, computer control, robotics, programmable machines, process control, adaptive control, intelligent control systems, microprocessors, microcontrollers, computer interfacing, and engineering projects. The Control Engineering branch is equipped with laboratories to support all available fields of control engineering, preparing students to effectively and efficiently handle applied engineering work.
