Mechatronics and Robotics Branch
Mechatronics has sparked new waves of technical progress. There is no modern product that does not contain both electronics and mechanical parts. If you look around you, you can immediately see mechatronics in business computer tools such as the hard disk and printer, and consumer electronics goods such as hard disk drives, washing machines, microwave ovens, and all kinds of Equipment used in factories. No, the simplest definition of mechatronic engineering is a branch of engineering that combines mechanics, electronics, and control systems to design and build products and processes. It is the design of computer-controlled electromechanical systems and includes automation systems, robotics, neuroprosthetics, microelectromechanical systems, and many more advanced technologies. Mechatronic engineering is one of the newest branches of engineering and has far-reaching applications for all sectors of society. Despite its modernity, its topics are related to traditional engineering fields. To keep pace with this development, in 2001, the Mechatronics Engineering Branch was established in the Control and Systems Engineering Department, and studies were developed.
