
The Control and Systems Engineering Department Holds a Lecture on Professional Ethics
The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the Control and Systems Engineering Department organized an awareness lecture as part of the Guidance Week activities entitled “The Importance of the Concept of Professional Ethics and Its Dimensions on Society”, on Wednesday 1/29/2025. The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Farah Falih Hassan to the second-year students of the Computer and Control Engineering Branch / Morning Study. The focus was on the definition of professional ethics and its impact on improving the general situation when adhering to them according to the different specializations. The circumstances in which these ethics are practiced were also addressed, with examples from daily life being provided to enhance understanding and practical application. The lecture witnessed fruitful interaction and discussions from the students about this concept, which contributed to enhancing their awareness of the importance of adhering to professional ethics in their academic and professional careers
